1) The infotainmenet screen always shuts off for 8 seconds whenever I use the turn signal, left or right.
Is there a fix for this?
= please check camera setting menu and make sure starting front view/starting steering view options are set to 0.
starting front view means aftermarket front camera; starting steering view means aftermarket right/left side camera.
since the car do not have such cameras but customer turn on the function, it will get black screen then.
2) There is no sound whenever I'm using google maps for navigation despite the sound option being turn to on.
= if you use aux audio, please check mobile- setting- bluetooth, make sure mobile bluetooth are disconnected from Alfa bluetooth.
If aux audio is selected, mobile Bluetooth connects to car Bluetooth, which means two audio channel works and mixes, and it causes navigation/Siri/calling no sound sometimes.
If the car is 6 series and has two voltage models, two of them use different modules. there are 4 pins in the joystick, need to use a multimeter to check the four wires on the joystick. Pictures below
